Mayanot Israel

Role: Freelance Graphic Designer (Creative Campaign Development)

I collaborated with Mayanot Birthright Israel on a creative campaign to engage Jewish college students across the United States. This involved developing a fresh visual concept, a suite of digital and print assets, and customizable templates that campus partners can easily use and adapt.

I also designed a set of personality-driven stickers for past Birthright participants, adding a playful touch to the overall brand experience and fostering community identity.

POV Creative Campaign

Case Study

Creative Concept & Visual Direction

The campaign centers on a POV experience — visuals that feel like real moments students can imagine themselves in. Rather than traditional promotional content, the approach leans into storytelling and social-native energy, designed to reflect how young adults interact with content today.

Color & Typography

To appeal to a Gen-Z audience, I selected bold, modern colors that create energy and visual impact while staying clear and readable across both digital and print. Typography emphasizes rounded, friendly sans-serif typefaces for a contemporary, approachable tone.

Social Media Design

Instagram played a central role in this campaign. I designed graphics first for the standard vertical Story format (9:16), then adapted these layouts into 4:5 feed posts so the same visuals work across placements while maintaining impact.

All templates were delivered in Canva, giving campus Shlichim (Chabad representatives) flexibility to upload their own photos and adjust text to suit their communities.

Poster & Print Design

For in-person visibility, posters were styled to echo digital interfaces, including familiar elements like “LIVE” badges and interactive-style reactions. This creates a cohesive visual language that feels familiar whether students see the campaign online or on campus.

Design Rationale

The campaign is built to meet students where they are — in social feeds and physical spaces — with visuals that feel familiar, exciting, and easy to interact with. Custom vector illustrations and engaging graphic elements help convey personality while maintaining clarity and purpose.

Closing

This project blends strategy, design, and usability to help campus partners inspire engagement and give students a visual experience that feels personal and inviting.

Sticker Series

Before the work I completed for the POV Creative Campaign, I designed a collection of fun, expressive stickers for Mayanot Birthright Israel participants, all relating to various aspects of Judaism, the country of Israel and/or it's culture.

The graphic from the “Stay Salty – Dead Sea, Israel” sticker was used as a giveaway on luggage tags.
